At the Hotel Boutique Casa San Blas we are a home away from home. But is not just the splendid décor of our hotel that lends comfort to your stay. Hospitality has always been the virtue of this city in the Andes which once received pilgrims from the whole Inca Empire, and now welcomes guests from all over the world.

We chose to locate our hotel in an 18th century colonial-style house in the historic artisan's quarter of San Blas in order to provide our guests with a sense of Cusco´s magnificent history.

The restoration of a modest merchant's house was achieved without sacrificing the pleasing proportions of what had once been a family home. We retained and even recovered elements of the original design, and incorporated other elements we unearthed during the work - including original Inca masonry - to create a unique style.

Our hotel, the first Boutique Hotel in Peru, has been created to provide our guests with a distinguished service based on individual, personalized service and attention to detail in a comfortable, home-like atmosphere.

The hotel is situated in San Blas, which has been the historic artisan's quarter of Cusco since Inca times, and lies just two and a half blocks from the main square. It is a neighborhood of narrow, picturesque cobbled streets and whitewashed colonial-era houses, with red-tiled roofs and wooden balconies. All around the hotel, craftsmen and women work in the doorways of their stores and workshops and antique dealers display the legacy of the city's Inca and Spanish past.

The Boutique Hotel San Blas has been designed to harmonize with the colonial architecture of the San Blas neighborhood, based upon the restoration of a historic mansion while incorporating all the benefits of the modern world and a 5-star hotel - elegance, warmth and comfort, in a perfect blend of the old and the new.

The Regional Government Of Cusco and the Departmental Cusco Office Of Industry, Commerce and Tourism (DIRCETUR) awarded our Hotel as Best in it’s Class, for 2004-2005.
