Review of: Casa San Blas Cusco Hotel
We had a terrific stay here! We stayed here 2 nights, left for Machu Picchu and they stored our big luggage for us and then we returned the day after and stayed another night. Upon our return visit, we were upgraded to one of the terrace suites and wow was that pretty and spacious!
Pros:
-Comfortable beds, not firm and with right amount of cushion.
-They gave us warm water bladders at night to put under the blankets to warm the bed for our feet before bed 🙂
-Very friendly staff and they all spoke perfect English
-Clean
-Hot water in the shower and excellent water pressure!
-Complimentary water in the room and the lobby, plus coca water
-Breakfast was included: buffet of exotic fruits, cereal, toast and local jams, and they offer to make you fresh eggs any way you like, delicious coffee
Cons:
-Couldn’t exchange money for us
-The only mirror is in the bathroom and this can be challenging when two people are getting ready in the morning at the same time.
-A hairdryer is included in the bathroom (attached to the wall) and doesn’t work well. However, we asked the front desk about it and they sent up a different one that worked excellent.
-Noisy neighborhood and the hotel building itself is pretty loud when people start moving about but you’re in Peru…it’s a city and you should be up and out exploring anyway!
